The Pillar Society has been made aware of an upcoming event that may be of interest to current and former members of Canada's intelligence, national security, law enforcement and public safety communities.
Connected i2 Canada will bring together intelligence practitioners, investigators, technology specialists and senior decision-makers for a day focused on intelligence analysis, investigative methodologies and the evolving technologies supporting modern intelligence work.
Hosted by i2 Group in collaboration with Canadian partner Versatil, the program will feature real-world case studies, practical applications and demonstrations covering intelligence tradecraft, analytical techniques, Analyst's Notebook, iBase, intelligence workflows, artificial intelligence-supported analysis, open-source intelligence (OSINT) and investigative case management.
The program includes an Intelligence Fundamentals session examining intelligence tradecraft and analytical techniques through the investigation of the 2018 Austin serial bombings. Guest speaker Dr. Ryan Prox of the Vancouver Police Department will also participate in the day's program.
For former intelligence professionals, investigators and others interested in how intelligence analysis and supporting technologies continue to evolve, Connected i2 Canada provides an opportunity to hear from practitioners, technology specialists and other members of the Canadian intelligence and public-safety community.
