Who Are We?
The Pillar Society is comprised of security intelligence professionals who are former members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Security Service and
previous employees of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).
Although Pillar Society members are no longer formally associated with
the RCMP or CSIS, we remain dedicated to advancing the security of Canadians by supporting the Canadian Intelligence Community
and contributing to the broader national interest.

Spies In The CemeteryJoin us for an evening at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6:30 PM, featuring former CSIS analyst Phil Gurski as he discusses his new book, The Fenians: Brotherhood of fools or Canada’s first terrorist threat. Gurski will explore how the 19th-century Fenian raids by Irish-American militants shaped early Canadian security during the Bytown era and connect these historical events to contemporary security realities. Proceeds from the event will support the CSIS National Memorial Cemetery, honoring those who serve the nation in intelligence and security. |
